You really just don’t want it.
This isn’t supposed to be a downer blog post but it might be.
You really don’t want what you say you want.
If you wanted to build a product you’d find a way to get time to work on it. If you really wanted to start that new hobby you’d sacrifice something to find the time and money to do it.
If you really wanted to learn to play that instrument you’d find a way to learn that skill.
Want that better job? Nah or you’d find a way to get that better job and put forth the effort involved in getting it.
I’ll use me as a real example. I’d like to lose another 50 pounds. I know how to lose it. I just don’t want it bad enough to put forth the effort to lose it. I just don’t want it bad enough.
It’s more pleasing to just complain than take action. Action is a lot of work and usually isn’t fun.
You really just don’t want it.
