You have no control
written by Allan on March 08, 2010
You have no control over where you're born, who your parents are, where they send you to school, how much money they have, the genetic blueprint they give you or the decisions they make over the first years of your life. You have little control over how you look or how "smart" you are or the things you're exposed to while growing up. The only thing you have full control over is how hard you work, how much you put in, how much sweat you give and how many times you smile while doing it.
Learn how LessEverything built their consultancy to over $1,000,000 annual revenue at LessMoney Conference, June 7th in Tampa Florida. Each attendee will get early access to our upcoming ebook as well.

Awesome. I should get back to work, thanks!
A really big truth, nice and simple, cool.
Great post Allan! Thanks for the motivation to keep on working hard.
So true. Thanks for the reminder Allan!
Note to self: smile more, worry less. Got it.
Smile – I think that’s the most important part
And how nice you are to people while you’re doing all that.
Work hard. Be nice. That’s about it. But it’ll get you everywhere you want to be.

and don’t forget to hug your mom
Allan,
Please allocate 5% of my monthly fee to put your mother on payroll, and have her comment on your blog posts. @mom you’re great! Hugs to you Mrs. Branch. :D
Additional, the most important way is to appreciate simple things which can make our life more colorful.
Absolutely right! So never blame someone for your failures. It will be up to you how to live your life.
Do not blame others, take control , get it wrong and then blame yourself for not blaming others.
Total bullshit. Why bother. You can put all the work into it you want and still come up with nothing. Even the ability to put in effort can be taken away. Life is a prison. I now see why so many people use so many different drugs. To forget where they are, even the very successful fall down this path because deep down they all know what this existence really is. Its a joke with no punchline and the jokes on you. And you can’t just leave when you get ready, oh no you get sent back, life and death work just like all the other cycles of the earth. If there some asshole behind the whole works as some religious folks would have you believe then you can bet your ass you will end up in rwanda if you choose to terminate you life early. Buddha was an idiot. There is only suffering and nothing more.
Totally agree with you. Everything, absolutely everything in our hands. We were scared. Because we have to completely take full responsibility for our lives. But it’s true!
Thank you for sharing this post. Another knowledge gained. Looking forward to read more from you.
Thanks for the true words Allan. Sure not everything is black and white, but hard work will bring you far.
I really relate to your words Allan. This is the only road to salavation. Spoken like a true motivator.
Is the glass half full, or half empty! Have you fully reached your potential for what you do have?
It’s incredible how many things in this life are inherently out of your control. All you can do is look upward and have faith in something more.
