Dromaeo.com, some CSS magic
written by Allan on April 14, 2008
I had to toot my own horn and announce a design I am very proud of.
John Resig, creator of JQuery, needed a bit of design help with a new Mozilla project. He's created a JavaScript performance test suite, which I threw a design on. Big thanks to John for giving me such creative freedom. For the little dinos, clouds and comets, I used css absolute positioning with px and % locations and of course z-index layering. The video below shows the effect, it also works in IE6.

Loving the layered effect on the header, similar to http://www.silverbackapp.com
@Andrew, hey I love that site too! Ours is similar except Dromaeo works in IE6.
Very cool. That is a great idea!!
Cool. Love it. Were you planning on having the dinos move around during the test? I noticed they were individual assets.
ooh love it! Hope I’m as creative as you :(
