Be Proud of Your Work

written by Allan on February 12, 2008

Take this tidbit from my experience. You don't want clients that seek you JUST for your low rate, you want them to desire your skills. Find clients that want you. Find clients that allow you to do what you're good at. Designers, your job is to push a client into an area they wouldn't have thought of. Don't just recreate what they had in mind, push them into something better. Be kickass and be proud of the work you do.

Learn how LessEverything built their consultancy to over $1,000,000 annual revenue at LessMoney Conference, June 7th in Tampa Florida. Each attendee will get early access to our upcoming ebook as well.

Working with clients is a lot like relationships.

You should adapt to the circumstances and requirements, but, never, change for or because of it.Creative fusion is a must have.

All interactions is a subliminal power struggle, which is rarely good for awesome results.

It’s a privilege to have your services rendered, just as it’s a privilege to work with a client.

Loose the fear of what-if-i-break-this-spec … roll with it … your client rarely know exactly what they want, not even taking why you got the gig and someone more able, didn’t, into perspective.

In the blink of an eye, good stuff happens.Take 2 seconds longer to listen to your internal monologue, you just lost a Zen moment of potential greatness …
