There May Be a Bad Batch of MacBook Pro Hard Drives

written by Steven on November 08, 2007

The folks at TUAW have brought us this article which says that there might be a bad batch of hard drives in MacBook Pros. (Not that I would know anything about that.) Read the article and check your hard drive and backups. Don't let this happen to you.

Learn how LessEverything built their consultancy to over $1,000,000 annual revenue at LessMoney Conference, June 7th in Tampa Florida. Each attendee will get early access to our upcoming ebook as well.

Thanks for the note. If I have any drive wackiness lately, it’s not Seagate’s fault. I’m going with “sunspots.” (Model: TOSHIBA MK1032GSX Revision: AS024B)

To use Ben’s HD as an example is a bit of a half-truth, considering that Ben chose to test out the accelerometer feature of his MBP by dropping it onto a tile floor from five feet up before the subsequent HD failure.
